Snap of a Rajasthani villager: What to say

Trip

i liked the the above photograph.

Its so natural...so traditional...but feel sad that they still have these "ghoonghats" and wonder how long will they take to come out of these & when will they become independent. I know some people will disagree with my point saying that its their culture..but then this ghoonghat culture is not helping them in anyway..

I was just assuming that the female is educated and working in some good organisation but still wears the same kind outfits...is it possible??? obviously its not digestable...

yeah...u r right....it doesn't seem likely that the female would be educated and yet would follow the same customs...but i guess, over time things will change in the interiors of the counrry also...thankfully, they have already started in the major cities!
